SkyORB is a space simulator that lets you navigate the cosmos and find lots of information about all the planets within the solar system.

The application makes use of OpenGL and Direct3D technology to render all the different celestial bodies found in the cosmos.

SkyORB lets you view up to 36 different space phenomena, including the several solar and lunar eclipses that have occurred on Earth in the last years.

The user can travel around the different planets and see how the sky looks from their prespective, as well as access data on the temperature, pressure, distance from the sun, and so on.

The database of celestial bodies included in SkyORB is excellent. You can also use the application to locate stars or planets.
